Alabama

Just thought I'd take a sec to let everyone know about the customer service available at Gerbing's Heated Clothing.  I've had my heated gloves since 2002, and the left one decided to pop the fuse when I broke 'em out this season.  I checked the website and called for a Return Authorization number.  Despite the instructions on the website specifying a need to include the receipt (which I no longer have), I was told by the lady who answered the phone to just send the pair to them with the supplied Return Authorization number on the label.  I shipped my gloves out from Alabama to Washington state on the 22nd of October.  Today, I received my gloves back.  Only they're not my gloves.  They didn't say why, but I got back A WHOLE, BRAND SPANKING NEW PAIR!!  Nearly seven years old, no receipt, and they took care of everything, no questions asked!

So if'n you're getting chilly here in the fall weather and thinking about heated clothing, I highly recommend Gerbing's.  No affiliation, just a highly satisfied customer, YMMV, etc.

Took 4 months to get my gloves back. They did send a new pair. whoopee. I missed 2months of riding because they took so long. And it was their mistake. They repaired my glove then sent them to the wrong address. Instead of just sending me the new pr they tried for months to get the person they sent them to to return them. This all happened with me calling sometimes twice a week. The person I first talked to kept giving me the run around. Saying she was checking into when she wasn't. Finally had to ask for her supervisor. Very poor customer service for me. Glad you were treated better.

Maybe from your experience they changed their policy??

All companies make mistakes. The test of an outstanding company is how they deal with those mistakes. In my experience, Gerbing is an outstanding vendor made up of folks who do everything they can to satisfy a customer. Just a data point.
