"Both types" being, a version for belly tank equiped bikes, and the other for without BT.  These are all powder coated black since most everybody asked for that.  Recall, these are lightweight (shipping wt 4# - less than my S&W 500mag revolver!), cantilever design that does not reach up into the swingarm area, so anything you have up there doesn't conflict.  Made with thickwall 3/4" steel box tubing.  Also these are version 2.1 that uses large bolts that pull the adapter up tight to the bottom of the engine, and has shims to closely support the engine where it steps up some (not pictured below - also the new hot-forged bolts not shown).  These are a great tool you can install and forget until you need to lift the bike - say at Inzane you need to change a tire, or a bearing went out.  Any bike lift will now lift the bike w/o concern for the CG living at the void aft of the engine.

$67 + priority mail of $15.  (East coast generally costs me about $18 but I'll cover the extra)

Here's a post from before that had pictures - edited a little:

The adapter for stock bikes:

The adapter for belly tank equipped bikes:

The belly tank adapter installed on my Jade:

The no-belly adapter installed on my George:

I should mention, I am talking about the R&M Works belly tank here.  I don't know of any other brand - to my knowledge, they are the only belly tank available.  This is for the standard version, not the smaller one for 6-6 pipes (Cobras I think).  Haven't tested the adapter with that tank.

Note, the 1/2" tubing locations is not a mistake.  The belly tank is asymmetrical.

Just call it in or use paypal to my email valkstuff@horseapple.com, contact info at website http://www.horseapple.com

To Toronto area, USPS quotes $46.65. Due to the size apparently.  Fedex quotes $32.98.

This is something that I have being looking for my I/S in the last 4 years... and buying from a forum buddy would be even better.

A few questions:

a) How hard is the install? (being 1 'wrench' for an oil change, 3 wrenches for an alternator change and 5 for a carb rebuild?)

b) Does it require any special tools? (e.g. impact tools, etc)

c) Does it require a lift/jack to install? Or would a wheel chock do the job?

a) 3/4" or 19mm wrench, any type.  Two "L" bolts to insert, 2 washers, 2 nuts to tighten.

b) No.  Torque wrench if you want but just a good twist around 25 ft/lbs is good.  Use blue loctite if you want to.

c) No. Just lay on your side alongside the bike.  Rt side might be easiest.

Just what I'm looking for - would you post a stock one to UK?

Thanks.

Yeah I'll send it anywhere if you cover the shipping.  Just provide an address so I can get the shipping cost.  Maybe send that to my email so you don't put it on this public forum. valkstuff@horseapple.com

I'm still on the road from Inzane.  Taking a roundabout route to visit family in 3 states. I'll be back in the shop the end of next week.
