Theres two things going on here that bother me.  I cant really put my finger on which bothers me more, so Ill call it a draw:

--First, that a VRCC member says "I saw this today" and he is called on it as if it didnt happen, and someone thinks its on him to prove what he saw really happened, that is BS!  People, if we cant get along better than that and we are in the same club than we are in trouble.

--Second the denial (mostly with those on the left hand side of issues) that many muslims hate us and want us dead.  Even the news is like.......what could be the motive of this guy.......what made him snap.......Hello, he is a radical muslim extremist and wants non muslims dead before he would serve his own Country.  He is not alone and those like him need to be rounded up and detained without the bleeding hearts crying civil liberties and freedom of speech.

If I go into an airport and yell "bomb"  I will be arrested and detained.  I will NOT be able to sue anyone for the violation of my personal rights because I am responsible for my actions and Im not an Arab.  If  an Arab Muslim does something that is clearly aggressive and seeminly in support of terrorism, we have to hesitate before doing anything because OH, MY we wouldnt want to infringe on their rights or anything!!!!!!!!  Thats BS

You ask what do these two things have to do with each other, well here it is.  One of our main problems we have in America today is identifieng the enemy.  I dont care which political party, which color creed or anything.....if you are for taking away my freedom you are my enemy.  We should not be sniping each other we should be standing firm against those that would take away our right to be and do all the things we stand for in this club.  Which BTW is still the greatest I have ever been associated with

Chris you hurt my feelings!  2funny I would like to put my answers to your 2 questions but I better not. When it comes to being 'PC' I go off the handle and I'm sure I'll offend someone. Which I'm sure is not the 1st time!  Shocked I have to get up in 6 hours for a long way-to-work ride anyway.  Smiley

Nicely said. I had this discussion at work the other day (I know, dangerous) and I was getting the "not all muslims are terrorists" response, which I agree with. It's obvious that the entire Islam religion is not a terrorist organization. However, you gotta look at the numbers here. The overwhelming majority of "terrorist" or bad guys, are Muslim. It's a fact, it's not racism. If your an American Muslim, or whatever, and you get hassled at the airport more than me, that's just the way it is. The bottom line is that it doesn't make sense to hassle my grandma and strip search her in the airport and skip over Mr. Nassan because we are scared of the picture it paints.

According the the Associated Press, Hasan's fellow students complained to faculty of the military medical program about his "anti-American propaganda".   But a fear of appearing discriminatory against a Muslim student kept officials from filing a formal written complaint and at the least confronting him about his beliefs which included the justification of suicide bombings.
