It's not the bike, it's the owner with issues.  Sounds like he don't know how to turn a wrench.  Don't get me wrong, I would never own an HD, it'a not my style.  My motto is just as long as you got two wheels and a motor underneath you have fun, no matter the brand.  But I agree, the ad is kick-ass funny.

It never ceases to crack me up how these guys modify the crap out of those things to squeeze anything resembling performance out of them, then piss and moan about how unreliable they are.

Well, truth be told....the HDs from the 90's were probably the biggest pieces of crap of all the HDs made.  They were probably riding on their reputation and let quality control (I am trying not to laugh here Smiley) slip a lot.  They were the ones that leaked on the showroom floor I believe.
