This spectacular video ("U2 High Flight") was a small segment of a documentary "James May on the Moon" which aired on BBC2 on July 9th, 2009. The documentary commemorated the first American moon landing, 40 years ago. James May(from the BBC Automotive program "Top Gear" fame) takes a "giant leap" into space history to discover the stories of the heroes behind this auspicious historical event. If you would like to see the whole program, you will find on it on YouTube entitled "James May on the Moon" in 8 segments.

i think people need to realize what we did 40+ years ago!  going to the moon, with the technology we had back then!  those guys were nutz!!

haven't gone back since, goes to show that the moon was a nice place to visit, but you don't want to live there!!

We toured Kennedy space center a few weeks ago, I was amazed. How did they go anywhere in that flimsy crap?
