please, send a card and a prayer

(friend of a friend) has a 5 yr old son Noah. He is in the last stages of a 2 1/2 yr battle with Neuroblastoma Cancer. The family is celebrating Christmas next week & Noahs request is to get lots of Christmas cards. Let's get him some. Please send cards to:
Noah Biorkman
1141 Fountain Viewcircle
South Lyon, MI. 48178
Let's see how many cards we can get to this little guy.

They did not ask for anything except a card for Noah. I am asking you to send a card as soon as you can if you will and a prayer if that seems right to you.

Thanks, John
From the Foxvalk riders. (Danny-Windjammer)

Will pick up a card today when we go to the grocery store, will be addressed, stamped and in the mail tomorrow waiting for the workers on Monday.

Prayers & thoughts to the little guy on the way as we speak.........

Too  bad an old fart like me can't take his problem and suffer for him while he takes what is left of my health and goes out and plays like all little kids do.

John, I was with all the Ride for Kids volunteer leaders in Asheville this weekend and we sent about 100 cards out to Noah.  Should be a great surprise.

And for others reading this post, you might want to read this month's Cycle World article on Mike Traynor, the founder of the Ride for Kids that raises money to help find cures for these kids.  He passed away himself recently and this article talks a little bit about the help he was to these kids and families.  If you haven't been on a Ride for Kids event, you can find the closest one of about 40 rides on the calendar link at http://www.pbtfus.org/rideforkids/calendar/2010/

When my wife and I buried our son, nearly 15 years ago, the one thing that helped ease the pain was the anonymous cards and gifts.

If you send a card, send a few bucks.  Believe me, that family will appreciate it.  It helps in these hard times.
