Post 'em up folks... here's a few more...

Good ol' Dusty having a siesta again... mmm...this seems to be a recurring theme at these events...

Fireball, fire pit, and a big old tank of propane... what can go wrong?  Shocked

Redline receiving Hardluck trophy for this year's Valhalla... bit of a mishap resulting in severely bruised foot. Didn't slow him down much, and we're all grateful that this was the worst injury or breakdown that happened

Buffalo Bob flying the Maple Leaf along with his Stars & Stripes... showing respect for his Nothern hosts  cooldude

Steve H. our feerless ride leader once again... good thing that White Wing is easy to spot. Always a brisk, but safe pace  cooldudecooldude

My American "cuz" ... the old Chrome Dragon himself. Thanks for waking me up when you came out of nowhere and roared ahead of our lead group... you da Man!!

I was watching some bees that were flying around inside the tent.

I may have closed my eyes for a second or two. I never spilled my drink so I couldn't have been sleeping.   Grin Grin

A link to all my pictures. If you want any emailed to you, let me know.

Our brethern from Spokane arrived just before the rains.

They had gotten under shelter, and off their bikes, just before the 2nd down pour that we received Thursday.

Then we started our made dash to shelter, so we could start to relax at the end of our day.

Then a 1/2 hour later, as the sun came out again, and the desert started to again dry out.

Our Friday ride, and a short stop at Spencer's Bridge.

Vermin Club monthly breakfast meeting outside of Marblemount on Highway 20, the North Cascades Highway, on the way to the rally.

"No more peg dragging"

The scenery is as nice as the road! Diablo Lake from the overlook rest area.

Ground zero restaurant. Note... the Canadians all got their food and are done eating... nothing but menus for the Americans... not even a glass of water... hmmm...

When the waitress finally did stop by I ordered up a Coors Right... hey, it was on the menu!

Thanks to Bearjaws, aka Sam, for sharing his pain medication, it did seem to help!

If you want to know what the bottom of a Valk foot peg looks like! I went in for x-rays today, after a week of no improvement, the doc didn't see anything broke or displaced, so that's good.

You meet the nicest people on a Honda! Lookin' good guys! Are we evolving into a Goldwing Club, I think they wear matching shirts?

You mean from this look out?

But from comparing the pictures, it looks like you where higher and further along the lake than I was. If you compare the dam top at the end of the lake.

Doesn't appear to be the same location. Here is another shot from the Diablo Lake overlook/rest area.

How to clean the underside of your Goldwing

Valhalla Gals

Gord left holding the bag(s)

Well...either the guys, or the gals will get all of the world's problems solved tonight cooldude

...I'm thinking maybe the gals...they seem to have a bit more "reinforcement" Wink

That old firepit has been around...Post Falls ID, Soap Lake WA, New Denver, BC, Grand Forks BC, Billings MT, Merritt BC...Gordonv's most important necessity to pack (other than Tess of course Wink) for Valhalla or Inzane gatherings cooldude

Lineage of Honda sixes in the lead group...1500 Valks, F6B's, 1800 Wing, 2018 Wing

Making the old Valks feel "really" old

Ready to ride...

WOW! Mike!

Really great report! Outstanding photos and narrative... I'd really enjoy riding those roads again... The group of folks, too, appears to be having a wonderful time! You make it look so inviting, I may be tempted to drop in on y'all one of these days... Hey, you know, every party needs a pooper... perhaps that's something I could help with...?

We are always looking for more for our Rally's, all are welcome. It take all kinds to make a family too, just bring Fireball and you'll be welcomed with OPEN arms.

This Rally's rides have been some of the shortest ones I've done in all these years, but I found it the MOST relaxed and pleasant times I have ever had. Pleasant conditions, roads, scenery, food, and of course, People!

Can just imagine the message to the purchaser from the Merritt Wal Mart's men's wear dept.... "honestly Joe, we've had a real run on those blue shirts you thought we overstocked...better bring more in, and fast..."

What are the odds that the Mrs winds up with THIS at our wind up gift exchange..."Mini Mike"  2funny

Buffalobob’s facial expression confirms what the photo suggests.

This will give you a chance to put a couple dozen coats of wax on the front of that fender you normally can’t get to.  Grin
