Great...what would a Valhalla be without ol' Dusty being  caught on camera napping in the middle of festivities Grin

Lisa and I are leaving Thursday not too early in the AM,  probably up the Canyon and then over to Merritt. Depends if any of our US friends are coming through our way,  we may try to meet up with them.

I'm bringing dark sunglasses this year  Grin Grin  and shirt that doesn't look like it came from Omar
the tent maker. I imagine there will be a big selection on Hawaiian shirts  at Wal-Mart this year   Grin Grin

I haven't decided yet.

Either a late start and drive straight there, then maybe a short ride around the hills.

or like Mike, up the canyon and over to Merritt.

But unknown time when I'm leaving, so unsure if I'm going to try to hook up with any others or not.

Gordon ... yup, on the Saturday, I'll be riding down to Keremeos and then jumping onto some interesting motorcycle friendly roads Cheesy , circling back to Green Mountain road and then into Penticton Car Show. After everyone is done walking around, I'll be riding north to HWY 97C ( the connector) and cruise back to Merritt. Smiley

Hello everyone!!!! Nothing is for sure yet, but I am thinking about leaving Vancouver early in the morning on Saturday and arrive in Merritt by 9am the latest to join you all for some nice rides and beers after that. When will all the rides be leaving the hotel?

Christian...nothing cast in stone with respect to departure times yet on the Saturday morning,  but I doubt it will be much after 9:00. Hope you are staying over for that  evening and the main event... look forward to meeting you

Ok, thanks Mike! I like my beers after a long day of riding, so the plan is to stay for the night. I talked to Nicole from the hotel already and she knows about the possibility of a very short notice from me for a room. I will know Fri night if I can leave early morning Sat. Fingers crossed and looking forward to meeting you all! Cheers

Nope.... this is a very informal gathering of several groups that have been getting together to share stories and rides in various locations for the past 10 years or so... no vendors or other organized events other than the Friday show n shine and the Saturday gift exchange. Maybe 40 people in all tops. It's nothing more than just a great time with great folks Smiley
