I wonder if it is possible to institute a voluntary moratorium on any hateful, devisive, political posts on Sundays ? Seems like one day without would do us good. I put forth the motion that Sunday’s are dedicated to talk of riding, motorcycles, rainbows, and unicorns.
This might be a tough rule to follow. Sundays are when many are actually out riding their motorcycles (or unicorns?) and chasing rainbows (or unicorns?). Those who are at home and on their computers on a Sunday are going to be in a grumpy mood because there's some reason they aren't doing something like that.

Many Christians consider Sunday to be their "Sabbath", as they try to use it as God intended the Sabbath to be used, for rest and for worship. Another common term for the Christian Sunday "Sabbath" is
the Lord's Day, which I personally prefer. We (the family I lead) try to sanctify Sunday several ways: 1. by abstaining from non-worshipful media before noon, 2. by attending our congregation's service of worship, 3. by spending recreational time together, occasionally missing church to do this, and 4. by refraining from non-essential work.
I abstain from forums and other things on Sunday but I'm always curious on Monday to find out what i missed.
