While washing my bike today, I noticed that the front wheel did not cleanup as nicely as the rear one did.  I tried polishing the front one but it still doesn't look as shiney as the rear one.  What kind of cleaner/polish has given you the best results?

Red then White polishing compound, and for really bad issues real fine steel wool with the compounds. Then Maguirs(sp) cleaner wax to protect. For more protection Maguirs(sp) #26 Yellow wax. If you use the steel wool be extra sure that it is cleaned off real good or you may develop rust spots. This works with or without clear coat and over time and use will remove the clear coat. So keep them waxed. Thanks Pete.

"White Diamond" was recommended to me. I bought some on line and was amazed at how easy it worked. My wheels almost looked like chrome with very little elbow grease.

I also found a product at the same time for plastic windshields. Again, I went on line and purchased a couple of spray bottles.
It's called "Plexus". Minor scratches disappear with several applications. Bugs really come off easily as well.

I hope this helps and I hope someone else has used these products and will testify how well they work.

White Diamond    cooldude    I use it on both bikes, wheels and other aluminum items.  I used it with the Mother's Mini Power Ball at first, but now it's just once a year by hand and looks great (ok, maybe twice a year).

Magic Mix. cooldude  White Diamond comes pretty close.  If I could only have one aluminum polish in my cupboard....Magic Mix.

Now, if I could only have all the money back that I have spent on products that don't work, I'd be Real happy.

It also does a great and easy job on the OE flat aluminum handlebar controls, and makes chrome glitter brighter than anything.  Like using water not paste. Great on Stainless pistolas too.

Best I have found for aluminium is Autosol http://www.totalmotorcycle.com/reviews/AutosolReview.htm

I was wondering why the name was familiar.  Now I know, the JP Cycles catalog.
