All to often on this board we attribute anything said by a conservative to all conservatives and anything said by a liberal to all liberals.  We must be careful not to do that.  Hmmm, we don't seem to do that with libertarians.  There are certainly evil people in the ranks of almost every political grouping.

I read what he (or she) emailed and can only assume that person is on the road to where he (or she) hopes to meet up with the Kavanaugh family.  I fear that person may be in for a disappointment.

 I have been a member of this club one hell of a lot longer then you. I have seen many members come and go. When it comes to political posts you,Baldo,Savago and a few others are in the minority. So I can honestly say there are more members that think like me in this club then you. So take as much stock in that that as you want.

Discounting her out of hand is pretty easy when you look at the current circumstances. I think the Democrats are doing exactly as I would expect them to perform in the political environment. I am open to her testimony and will find it entertaining if not informative but I don’t care for the kid glove handling. She is a grown woman and she has entered an arena that is not for snowflakes.

I knew about it being provided to the FBI and them saying no jurisdiction for a investigation. Feinstein should have provided a copy directly to the committee if she is serious about getting to the bottom of these allegations.

I don't know about where you work. But that's sure not the way it works here. An investigation would be done by H.R. and it would go from there. In my career I've seen a few of these. It's usually pretty easy to get to the truth of it. Granted, this is a totally different circumstance. And I doubt we will know what actually happened.

A 10 year statute of limitations once the "victim" reaches age of majority to file any sort of complaint about such alleged activities.

If an alleged "victim" brings up any such items past that 10 year + age of majority statute of limitations and does not have HARD proof (Beyond a reasonable doubt standard), they're legally liable for slander with a minimum $1,000,000 fine to be paid to the real victim.

A 10 year statute of limitations once the "victim" reaches age of majority to file any sort of complaint about such alleged activities.

If an alleged "victim" brings up any such items past that 10 year + age of majority statute of limitations and does not have HARD proof (Beyond a reasonable doubt standard), they're legally liable for slander with a minimum $1,000,000 fine to be paid to the real victim.

I like it  so Ford was 14 when this happened? So it would be the 10+4 to equal 14 years. It has been  more than twice that long. I'm still going with she is a liar until I'm proved wrong.

Rob I know you are not up for SCOTUS. (Thank GOD ) but think about this for one moment. If any female that is at your place of employment went to the higher ups and alleged (even though you hadnt)that you sexually harassed her you would more than likely be terminated on the spot. That is wht this pussyhat wearing country has come to.
How would you feel knowing you hadnt done anything yet her word destroyed your reputation and that it would follow you the rest of your days. Especially when you were trying to find another job and they wouldnt hire you because of what she "said" you did. Think about it,it is very scary. Look around it is happened everywhere. Where will it stop?

I don't know about where you work. But that's sure not the way it works here. An investigation would be done by H.R. and it would go from there. In my career I've seen a few of these. It's usually pretty easy to get to the truth of it. Granted, this is a totally different circumstance. And I doubt we will know what actually happened.
 You should read up on the me too movement. It's not what you described.

 To clarify another poster's claim that I believe what Dr. Blasey claimed. Totally untrue. I have no idea what happened. But, I think we ought to listen to her with an open mind. I also think the buddy of Kavanaugh should be subpoenaed.

Rob you are lucky if you have seen this in the past 5 yrs. this is not what happens in everyday  life anymore. And I hope for you sake no one ever accuses you and you have to face the reality of a false statement......it may change your (sideways mind) thinking.
