I have the Honda luggage rack, I wanted to be able to pop a top case on for two up rides or long solo trips, but take it off for a cleaner daily use look.
I ordered a Shad 45, seemed like a good value and not too small or big. But when it came the black mounting plate looked huge and didn’t match well with the Honda luggage rack.
So I found a way: mounted three bolts through a piece of wood with nuts and lock washers so they wouldn’t spin.
Attached black mounting plate to wood with four bolts. Both attach to luggage rack with three Now the whole mess comes off for a sleeker look when not in use.
Not sure how to find my member number so I can post pics.

Not sure how to find my member number so I can post pics.

Using some generic picture posting site is the best way. I put my photos
over at sites.google.com, a whole lot of people here put their photos
at https://postimages.org/.

As an example, I have a ride photo stored at this location at sites.google.com:

Once you have a photo online, you can type its location into your
post and surround it with "image tags" and it will display as an
image when people read your post...

You type:

Thanks Mike, let's see how I did:
Screwed three bolts through a piece of wood so they wouldn't twist (used nuts and lockwashers)

Attached the SHAD mount to the piece of wood with four bolts:

Trimmed board (a little crudely) to fit under SHAD mount.

Pics from the rear and of my lovely passenger modeling make-up free:

The box comes off the mount like normal, and the wooden mount and SHAD mount come off as one with three wingnuts so all that is left is the Honda luggage rack.
Might even paint the wood black some day.  Smiley

No images displayed, it looks like the locations you used might not be quite
right. Sometimes you can hover over a picture and click on "copy image location"
or some such...

Your "locations" (URLs) were google-related... I don't know,
maybe you use Google Photos or some such... maybe there's
a button you need to press to get public URLs you can use on
social media...
