I noticed it was flagged for removal later the next day. But miraculously
it is still on Craigslist in a different location. The traveling $1200 Valkyrie.

That alone should tell you that it's a scam. Posted 13 days ago? Hell No. If it was legit, it would have been sold to the first person who contacted the seller. Flag It!

I see the same bike's listed in several different cities all the time and know it's a scam immediately by the unbelievable price. I flag everyone I see.
But it's a losing battle. I guess some may fall for it but I can't see how.
The days of a elderly widow selling a 1963 split window Corvette for $2500
are long gone.

Another CL scam I get every few months, is the buyer asking for something along the lines of a Title Search (not the right words, deleted the email), something that needs paying for. The scam is them getting you to buy something you have no need for. Maybe even scam your CC information.

It's something like a FireFox (?), damage title report. On a 24' yr old car for $2K? Meaningless.

97 Honda Valkyrie with 44,000 miles. Runs great and is fast for a cruiser. Lot of work done to it recently. Has a couple scratches and a ding on the gas tank. Clean title in hand. $2600.
