Early in the morning, Glenn and I decide to ride the Vulture Mine Road before meeting with the Valkyrie group for lunch in Cave Creek. It was a 162 mile trip in 42 to 52 degree weather.  I was on that road about a year and a half ago, and I remember the road being longer than it was today. I guess I must be riding faster these days.  Grin  Here are a few pics of the road.

And finally the Vulture Mine itself.

On the way back up to meet the group for Lunch we ran into John on the road and we decided to ride together to the Hideaway. When we arrived George and Rob were already there and Dennis showed up a few minutes later. We decided to go over to the Road House for lunch.
Here are some pics of the Hideaway

Here are some pics of The Road House.

After Lunch we decided to ride out to Bartlett Lake. Here are some pics.

We ended our get together back in Cave Creek.   You can guess where!  DQ of course!!
At the end of the day, we said our farewells and headed home which is a three minute drive for me.  cooldude  By the way the Cave Creek Mayor called and said he doesn’t want you guys back in his city. He has enough problems just dealing with me.  2funny

I sure enjoyed meeting up with everyone and sharing lunch.  It was 38 degrees when I left home and my electric vest died.  It was down to 36 degrees before I got home again and my fingers were so cold.  I went up through Skull Valley so missed the snow but I could see it on the peaks south of Prescott.

It was. I thought that was you, but I wasn't sure. Looks like you were going on a Patriot Guard Mission.

Yup, we escorted a Batallion to Sky Harbor from Gilbert. On their way to Iraq. I didn't think that was you because of the meet up in Cave Creek.
