How are you doing? Is the incision healing as it should?

Went to the doctor on Wednesday to have the stitches taken out. He wanted to leave them in one more week. Other than that I'm doing ok. I did ride the bike a couple of miles the other day. It felt good to be on it again but a ways to go before any long rides. I had to take the backrest off to do so. It's been 6 week since my surgery so hopefully a few more weeks and I should be good to go.

How are you doing Tom?

My incision is almost all healed. Just a few spots like where the drain was are still showing some coverings.
Still wearing the brace. I do notice a difference with it on.
I passed 4 weeks on Friday and started walking a bit. Does not take long to lose my wind....LOL
Put shoes on today for the first time. I can't bend far enough to tie them. So I had to wait for help.
It sounds like we had the same surgery but each Doc must do it differently.
My Doc said one year before I'm fully healed. I already paid for the Three Flags Classic on Labor Day W/E so I hope I'm riding by then..

Looks like your doing great Tom. To be honest I thought I would be farther along. But it's been 6 weeks and the doctor did say it could take 8 to 12 weeks. Some days are better than others. I've been trying to get off the Norco but I still need it now and then.

As far as shoes are concerned I have Skechers slip on's. Cheating a bit. LOL
