I thought hg and I would adopt a soldier in Iraq or Afganastan...but unsure how to do this...it would be good to adopt someone from our area...houston....does anyone know how to help me????

Go to your nearest American Legion Club and tell them what ya want.

They should be able to fix ya up.........

If not, get back to me and I'll dig deeper into the ranks of the AL, or the lady with First Response...
