Got it even earlier than it was supposed to, by a couple of days, had it on in an hour, and a GREAT improvement in feel and sound. My 99 IS has low miles (11k) and once I got to looking at the shift mechanism there was a lot of play already where the shaft exits the motor. Neutral is much easier to find also. Always read-don't worry about the clunky shift, it's normal. Well, it's not. NOW it sounds like a Honda shifting. Shame on you motherhonda for not doing this, and thanks Jersey Mike for a well made improvement. There is nothing to fear in the install-just follow the instructions. Make sure you have an 11/32 drill and you're golden.
