I ended up winning an auction for a centerstand assembly that was removed from a 2003 part out.  Looks like a Rivco, from other pictures I've seen. Best part? $136.50 shipped! Installed last night. Didn't come with the assist handle, but I've figured out a decent way of getting it on the stand so far. I'll keep my eyes open for a handle, though. Another great thing is that it fits perfectly with my Mark T. lift adapter, so no interference between the two. I've seen these stands go for over $400, so I'm pretty happy with this addition.

If any of you were bidding, my apologies... sort of. OK; not really.

Corner carvers wouldn’t give 136 cents for a center stand. But if you must have one I think you got a good deal!

Thanks for the report on that.  I have not been able to get a look at the fit between the center stand and my permanent lift adapter so their compatibility was unknown.  Good to know they fit together!

Because I'm about 6'4" tall, I already have Mark T's peg relocation brackets for a bit more legroom. I drag pegs here and there already. I can't see the center stand costing me any more clearance, but it will help with routine maintenance, cleaning, etc without dragging out the jack. I searched here quite a bit, and it seems that those who have it consider it one of their favorite accessories.

that's because corner carvers don't understand that the rear shocks need to be bumped up to keep from bottoming out. I have scraped pegs and not once has the correctly installed and adjusted center stand touched down.
its called needing to have a stiff suspension when riding hard in corners.

I ride with corner carvers without being as much of one. I've always had
non-mushy 13 inch progressive shocks. I've got more scrapes on the bottoms
of my highway pegs than my rider pegs...

FWIW....I have shorter shocks and have yet to scrape the centerstand. I'm normally not an aggresive rider but as stated....when I do get it on in the twisties I'll scrape a foor peg first but never the CS.

I’m neither a corner carver or a center stand owner. My comment was from memory of long ago discussions about centerstands.

I’m not the most aggressive rider in this club, nor am I the least aggressive. I’ve done AZ 89 into Prescott, “666” on the eastern border, the Tail of the Dragon, CA 36, amongst others. Never touched the centerstand . I’ve scraped a few pegs though.

Good for you. I was watching those posts (as I always do) looking for a deal, and seeing what they might go for. The price as great, but was more than I was going to pay, as I already have a center stand.

I saw his Mustang seat didn't sell at all, and was thinking on that one.
