Battery -- Brand

Has anybody used the "Mighty Max" brand battery, available from Amazon? https://www.amazon.com/Mighty-Max-Battery-YTX14-BS-Replacement/dp/B00K53I3BA

I usually use an O'Reilly's which, when last checked, is manufactured by East Penn, and they last 4-5 years with regular riding and a tender if left more than 2 weeks.  But I'll be selling the Valk soon and this thing is less than half the price with free shipping.  Plus it has a 1 year warranty instead of 6 months.  I just spent a good bit sorting out other problems on the bike, so I'd like to save money where possible.  Anybody know if these Mighty Maxes are piles of junk or amazingly worth it?

Its got a one year warranty. Give the new owner the receipt. Great price.

I don't know if they are piles of junk. But. For $39.99 and a 1 year warranty. You can't go wrong.

Holly Crap Batman! Only $40 bucks, I think I might mount that in my trailer, rather then my LiFe for a GW (polarity on the wrong sides), and use that to run lights/accsy/spare for dead battery.

My last one was a NAPA and I took out last year @12 yrs. old. Still on my bench as back up. Replaced with a USA made Yuasa @ $71.

I don't know if they are piles of junk. But. For $39.99 and a 1 year warranty. You can't go wrong. 

If it won't fire up your bike someday you went wrong.  I just bought a Yuasa for around 80 bucks and based on long experience with them shouldn't have any issues for at least four years of year-round starting.

The '2000 STD with 60k I bought recently had no startup issues or whatever - not even when cold in Winter.
I replaced the batt  several weeks ago in preparation to a longer ride.

12/99!  Still the first one.  Amazing.

No question - the new one is a Yuasa, too.

Had one on my Honda Aero before I sold the bike and it lasted....... you guessed it right at one year. With the Valk's superior alternator  it might last longer. But I've always said you get what you pay for

My 06" 1100 spirit left in 13' with the stock Yuasa and with 35,000 mi. on it. Believe me that Vtwin wasn't the easiest bike to start after a winter layup using the same size battery as the Valk. Three quick stabs @ the starter button the Valk fires right up. Its the easiest starting bike I ever owned.
