Well, it's almost here...Valhalla 2019!! Looking forward to seeing old friends again,  welcoming some first time attendees, and meeting some new friends as well  this year in Merritt. To date there's 21 rooms booked and we estimate about 30-35 folks in total. Advanced weather forecast is somewhat varied, depending on which site you check out...I'm going with the Environment Canada site which seems more optimistic than AccuWeather ....at least today. Looks like it will be similar to last year...a little rain here and there but for the most part on Friday and Saturday pretty decent. Make sure to load up as much rain gear, bike covers, etc as possible, as we all know the more room we take up with this stuff,  the less likely we'll need it!

T-shirts...for those that pre-ordered, I believe I got all the numbers and sizes right....cost is 12.00 for short sleeve and 16.00 for long sleeve. There should be about 5 or 6 extra total in L and XL. for those who didn't order and wish to purchase one .
Don't forget to bring a gift (under $20) to participate in the Saturday gift exchange (doesn't have to be mc-related) and lots of stories (exaggerations,  downright lies , etc  are all OK) to tell around the fire in the evenings.  Grin

For first time attendees, please be sure to check in at the hotel under the Valhalla Valkyrie group, as your room rate includes breakfast at the restaraunt. There will be parking cones towards the far end of the parking lot for our group set up early afternoon Thursday, and banners (depending when my MUCH older American Cuz arrives from Spokane  ). I'll try to have agendas for everyone available upon check in. The rides on Friday and Saturday are very casual...Gord V's previous link gave several options, and everyone is welcome to take off together, or go off in different groups .

Special note to our friends from Idaho who may not have been up here in a while...speed limit signs that say 100 or 120 are in KILOMETERS per hour...not miles per hour.  police  Just follow Steve H. on the  White Wing...he's plenty fast enough , has a good radar detector and a bionic deer whistle   Wink

Safe travels all....see you in Merritt sometime  on Thursday...    cooldude cooldude cooldude

Another fantastic time at Valhalla in Merit BC.  Hope that Dave is continuing  to improve!!  I will always remember to include the electric jacket on this ride above the border.  Thanks to Mike, Lisa,  Gordon and everyone else for the organization!!

Thank you, it was our pleasure.

It was great to have you and all the rest of the attendees show up and make this Rally a success. There is always next year too.

One of the 1st things I did, was get a heated vest. But I don't know how good it is, since my wife always uses it. Me, I use my rain jacket as a wind breaker, and I'm fine.
