I currently have a Deluxe model in matte white. The Deluxe sold for $1000 more and included heated grips, center stand, passenger backrest, and self cancelling turn signals. If you could find one it might be worth the extra money. The heated grips are great, and the center stand is especially important for checking tire pressures. Honda mounted the valve stems facing left because of the rear rotor location, and it's not easy to check the rear pressure with the bike on the side stand.
It's a great motorcycle, like an updated Valkyrie Tourer in many ways. Like Dave said handling is excellent, especially for a large machine. The linked brakes work very well, and there's more power. The audio system is much better than the one on a Valkyrie Interstate, and MP3 support is built in. I never had cruise control on a motorcycle but love it on my F6B.
There are other improvements too. With a single sided swingarm, the rear wheel comes off in minutes. However if you change you own tires the 60 series rear is more difficult to mount. Fuel injection is wonderful. Even with 300 more ccs my mileage is about 10 MPG better than on my Valkyries. And there's no risk of hydrolock! The only downside I can think of is air filter changes. It takes a few hours to remove all the plastic and access the thing.
