I live in Cali, my guess is I need to find a reputable shipping truck to drive it to him. But I've learned it's always smarter to make a post on here before making any decision involving that valk..

I might fly over there to ride her back to Cali.. that sounds fun. But how do I get her  there  Undecided

Ideas or recommendations?

My only advice is to ask him.

This question has probably come up before.

CRST trucking shipped my bike and did a great job. Pallet mounted and moved via forklift. Virginia to AZ was about $600.

Another option; www.shippingmasters.com

Does Attic Rat R&R motors only?

I'd like to pick a spare one up and depending on condition, rebuild it myself or get it done somewhere.

The couple times I've used uShip the experience was always positive. They only do "instant quotes" when it comes to cars (set pricing based on distance), anything else works off a bid system. You can either post a price you're offering and see if any carriers accept, or just post the shipment and let carriers bid.

Not to sound like a smart ass but you could always just ride it to him and fly back....

Another great shipper is Federal Motorcycle Transport...they give AMA discounts too.  Shipped my three bikes from Wisconsin to New Jersey for $1100.  Not a mark on them and they were shipped on pallets.
