On vacation with my wife and 5 other couples in Beartooth Pass area. We are all in travel trailers.   Last night about 8 we got hit with a major hail storm that left about 4” of hail on the ground.  Busted everones vent covers and ac unit covers.  Also busted lots of trim pieces and dented vehicles on both trucks and trailers.   About the size of a half a golfball.  Id send pics but not at home and not savy enough to do it on the road.   Dang sure glad I wasnt camping with my Valkyrie.  Beautifull scenery here.

I sure do love that area for riding. Really alarming to hear about the hail and the damage. How did you fare?

If all goes as planned, I'll be riding through Beartooth Pass a little over a week from now.

I sure hope that all of this crazy weather is done by then.

I didnt really see any tents that were occupied.  We were in a primitive area using generators.  Next morning we went into Billings to an RV Supercenter and they had all the vent and ac covers we needed to fix all trailers.   We fixed ours and hit the road.  In Keystone SD right now and we went to Mt Rushmore this morning.   The wife and I went to a helicopter place by Crazy Horse and took a short $49 each ride over to Crazy Horse Memorial.    Been a good trip overall (except for the hail).  We saw Estes Park, Rocky Mountain National Park and Mt Rushmore and Crazy Horse.   Drove the truck today through the Eye of the Needle.   I had never heard of the place.   Truck barely fit through it.   Trip is over and we hit the road in the morning for Houston suburg of Tomball, Tx.   The yard grass is two weeks high by the time I get home.
