I'll be installing an Interstate tank on my Standard and would like to get the fuel gauge installed as well.
I've already sourced everything I need except for the plug/socket that will connect the gauge to the fuel sending unit. Does anybody know the part number of that plug? Can it even be purchased separately (plug with pins so I can crimp it to the gauge harness)?
If not, does anybody have any other pointers how best connect the gauge to the sending unit so I retain disconnecting abilities like it's supposed to be from the factory?

Thanks very much!

The sender uses a 2-terminal locking male Hitachi connector w/ female pins. You'll need a female connector shell w/male pins.

Electrical Connection and a bunch of other vendors offer these.
