Was supposed to work in my garden today.......but all the stars alined last night and all activities for today got postponed.
Left the house this morning at 5 to make a 6:30 am breakfast for retired friends.   Left there and traveled around 215 miles total ending up at Yankees Tavern.  Not much going on there so I came home.  Turned 97,000 miles on my Valk today.

Glad you got a ride in.  Still hot up here, but that's about to change Tuesday with a high of 75.  Finally, some fall weather to ride in!

The weather finally broke for us yesterday... it was GLORIOUS... 95+ every day
recently, no rain to speak of all September... yesterday barely hit 75 and it even
drizzled a little bit  cooldude ...

Pulled the I/S out, scrubbed off all the bugs and shined her up.  I've been on some errand runs this week and then took it to my high school reunion last night.  Only bike there.

Cool thing to do.......what year reunion?    Went to my 50 yr reunion (class of 68)  last yr.     Over 500 in the class.  15% have passed on.  Quite a few on walkers and canes.   I'm in pretty good shape compared to most...ha

My ride was on a hot day    I wear long sleeve t shirts and gloves to try and keep from getting skin cancer.  I sweat a little but feel more protected.

45th.  Most folks looked good.  The "no longer here" list is getting much more crowded, though.  The only problem was coming back - my RAM mount failed to hold my phone after a particularly nasty pothole.  The case seemed to keep the phone from being damaged (the light was on, the screen looked fine from 10 feet away) as I walked back to get it on the overhead, but that disappeared as an 18 wheeler at 70mph took dead aim and mashed the life out of it.  I'll post a picture as soon as I get a new phone to take it with 2funny
