Calling an end to the riding season....
Fall clean up and tractor time down back is taking priority ....
3100 miles this summer, 1/5 of those miles came on one day ride.

I ride till they salt.

I typically do the same, assuming the temperature is no lower than 40 degrees. As a I've gotten older, don't care to ride in temperatures below 40 even with the heated gear on.

Gonna get close to 70 degrees and sunny in Metro Boston today. If I was retired, I be riding today. I'm getting close, though.   Wink

Same here Dan....not saying we won't ride any more this season, cause ya never know.
The enthusiasm just wasn't there this season....partially because of the ignorant people on the road,
and partially because we put a soft top on the Rubicon and that is fun to ride around in.

and the farm where we get it is only 15 miles away, so yesterday was a good day and 90 miles later we arrived home with 3 bottles of maple syrup  Cool

Carol has been caramelizing walnuts, using the maple syrup, for our salads so we can lose weight  Cheesy

hopefully, we have more weather like yesterday.  cooldude
