thought I had bought the bike locally by calling the dealer but it turns out ebay wouldnt let them withdraw the bike because too close to the end of the auction.  I kept my word and bid the 5500 but since no one went over 5300 I got the lower price

Its a 2004 BMW police R1150RT  has 46k on the odometer. Its not the one that was sitting on the side stand in my earlier post.

Should be a nice commuter bike, only thing I may want to add is an air horn if it dont sound loud enough

No time to ride it home to Ossining NY from Hollywood have to ship it.

Hey Oss, I have looked at several of those over the years.  We have a big BMW dealer over in MD (Bob's BMW) who regularly gets used police RTs from CHP.  BMW does some of the restoration and then Bob does the rest.  They are usually pretty high miles, but I like the roll bars and mostly solo setup.  Let us know what you think.
