Hi guys, anyone knows of a quality led flasher for the legacy Valk that’s plug n play to solve hyper flashing syndrome. I put some rear led lights and they’ve made front and rear turns  flash in a fast sequence. Tried couple eBay cheapo items but didn’t cure the problem.Thank you all in advance

The PO put a LED flasher on the license plate, works fine.  From what I have seen it's plug and play but I have no idea where it came from. So this post is useless but I do like having the flasher brake light on my license plate.

Larue, you can get a diode kit from Kuryakyn for just a few $$, installs in the headlight bucket in just a few minutes. Goes in the turn signal circuit for the lamp that's in the headlight bucket. Cut a couple wires, solder the kit in per directions and ground on side...per directions. No more fast flashing.

Electronic flashers don't need a ground wire. That's why only the 2 wires although many led flashers include a ground wire for whatever reasons. Also, different brand electronic flashers don't reduce the hyperflashing equally, and the reduced rate varies if you were to add leds to your rear signals, 4 leds instead of 2 leds.

I've tried the superbright flasher that Oil Burner linked to and it works but it does not reduce the blinking 100% back to the stock rate, but the slightly faster blinking is better in my opinon. It has a mini pin-connector (inset photo), otherwise you'd have to crimp on ¼-inch female blade connectors to the harness wires ..... in respect to plug-n-play.

This is the one I used on my interstate. Not sure if you would need the diode added to indicated light for standard and tourers. Not plug and play, but easy to change out.

I use the same one “Oil Burner” pointed out. If your concerned about rate of flash, eBay sells an electronic flasher with an adjustable control

The only plug and play I found was show chrome. Didn’t have very good reviews so I wired in my own. Very easy.

John, the purpose of the diode-in-flasher-indicator-mod is to stop 4-way flashers after installing LED turns in front.  Does not affect impedence or flash rate using the OEM analog flasher.  The reason that would happen is because the OEM circuit uses the opposite turn light as ground for the indicator.  No problem with incandescent bulkbs but with LED's the one being used for ground will light up - LED's require much less current to light than tungsten does.  I wired my own for the same mod, but I installed 2 LED's in the flasher indicator bezel so each side's circuit has it's own ground.  Eliminated the 4-way problem while it increased the brightness of the indicator and changed it to red.  Can't ignore it now.

The SignalBoss works with any type of lights, incandescent or LED, even intermixed and works correctly.  Also, you'll get auto canceling turn signals, Hazards, and Escort flashers.

The Show Chrome 13-306 LED Flasher is a plug and play, put one on my interstate when I changed to LED turn signals.
