I rode a few miles yesterday (near 100 or so) needed the winter gear! it was high 40's.....today was 30's and low 40's all day so I cleaned the bike again.  Dang, if this cold weather dont quit Ill have no dirt left to clean.  I removed the rear master cylinder cover and master cylinder, cable keeper, brake slave cylinder cover and foot peg mounts, the alternator cover and lastly the gas cap and chrome base.  Cleaned and waxed under everything removed.   Man-o-man I got some dirt off the ol girl........I think she gained 10 hp and a few mph just for all the weight she's lost the last couple weeks

I'm off from the 18th of Dec.- 4th of January...now I know where I can come to get my Valk cleaned up real well!!.... cooldude.... Cheesy... Grin

Steamer I'm off Dec.18 thru Jan.4 as well and I'll be headin' " Southbound "  ( somewhere ? ) I'll more than likely roll out of The Great State Of Tennessee on saturday the 26th or sunday the 27th . Got any ideas of a nice ride ? I'm thinkin' DeSoto - Little River Canyon - Cloudland , Alabama area with a run down to Cullman to have lunch at Winghot's place.... Interested in hookin' up for a ride ? If you have another ride in mind I'd be interested in hearing the plans....I'm just wanting to ride and could really careless where I ride as long as the wheels are rollin'.

Hey Joe......I've got to get a new rear tire before I can ride too far...I'm down into the wear bars and I don't think I have many miles left.....I've spent so much $$ on jewelry for the Boss, that $'s kinda tight right now....I hope I can get a new tire before Christmas though and I've always wanted to eat over at Winghot's restaurant.....I don't think I can swing the cost of too many hotel rooms, but maybe an overnighter sometime after Christmas... cooldude

Yeah...it pretty much sucks here today too.  So far, I'm the only one that has made it in to the office.  Roads all snow covered and they are calling for another 1-3 inches today and even more tonight into tomorrow.  It's going to be awhile before my bike sees the road again.  tickedoff

It's one under here.  The prognosticators are expecting it to rise to three above today.

At least it's short term for us.  My heart goes out to my friends who live in this stuff all winter.   Cry

What are the highway pegs you are using.  After dragging mine all the time I took your advice and removed them but still looking for a replacement.

Kuryakyn but I don't remember the part #  Undecided  I have those on two of my bikes and the more expensive Kuryakyn on my Interstate and again I don't remember the part # for those either ( Sorry ) .... I much prefer the ones on the picture above to these more expensive ones.Awhile back someone else ask me about them and Willow claimed he had the same ones maybe he'll know the part #.

You've posted that before and it's confused me.  How do you get a wind chill that's a higher temp than the actual?

TWC says Vail, AZ will only reach 65F today.  That's not nearly as nice as you're letting on.   2funny
