As of today.  Gunnison County is among the worst in the nation, per capita.

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

First town I know of doing this, and it's my hometown.   Actually a good idea because our town has a large saturation of cases, but it seems like doing the job could be both dangerous and grotesque.

Gunnison County to test its sewage to track the coronavirus.
County officials said testing the water would help them understand the magnitude of the virus over time.

I do not recall ever hearing about them sifting through and testing the county kak looking for the seasonal influenza virus.   Just sayin'.

Also, just today.   "Visitors" risk 18 months in jail, $5000 fine.

3rd death in my county (Wyandotte) just announced. Ks 172 cases, Wyandotte is of course #2 (right behind Johnson County - where Willow lives).

Wyandotte County (where scooperhsd lives) has overtaken Johnson County (where I live) to become #1 in Kansas.  Kansas has a little over 1100 cases, 296 in Wyandotte and 262 in Johnson County.  Johnson County's population is 3.5 time that of Wyandotte.

The viral infections are not evenly distributed and sometimes mysterious to figure out why it spreads as it does.

Chances of being one of the diagnosed cases in Wyandotte County are 0.179%.  That's odds of less than 2 in a thousand.  In my county the odds are 0.044%.

Wyandotte County has a larger low income population.  I think that follows the pattern we've been shown.  Maybe not.  Who knows what's real?

There's no denying the larger low income population in Wyandotte. It seems that one of the drivers is also high population density nursing homes. I would not want to be in one with COVID-19 out there right now, with what we know at the present time. It seems to spread like wildfire in nursing homes.

I did some calculations in WI at least and I think was like for all infected as compared to the deaths associated with having it were anywhere between 2 and 4% death rate.   Still,  say 3-4 deaths out of every 100 who have this virus are better than winning the lottery.     Cry   Odds I do not want to partake in.

My boss and me got into it a little last week me asking to bring home the necessary 'according to her confidential files' that MUST stay in the office so are forcing me to work in the office starting Monday thru end of May by myself thinking I can do 3 full time jobs.  What I should have told her is go ask HR and her supervisors if not being able to work from home going against WI orders bring files home with me is worth the risk of dying going into the office with a few of us being in as well?   uglystupid2  MY wife does very similar job as mine in treasury dept. and she has a copy paper box AT HOME of confidential files.  She did not even ask just took them home yet my boss is a _itch!
