I read in one thread you were concerned about not getting a stimulus check due to a 401k distribution in 2018 (no idea now where I read that).
I thought you might find this helpful: "Your eligibility is based on your most recent tax return and your adjusted gross income. If you already filed your 2019 taxes, your eligibility will be based on that. If not, the Internal Revenue Service will use your 2018 taxes to determine if you qualify."
So, if haven't filed for 2019, do it now! You should be able to beat the check distribution.

Funny side story - usually we do an extension and file after tax season (When the CPAs aren't quite so crazy busy) but I pushed hard and made sure we filed this year as quickly as possible. So looks like we'll get a little of the Government cheese at least... ...gonna go hug my 4 sweet tax deducting dependents now.....  |
