Really Stupid Commercials

Mayhem and the Farmer's we've seen it all are fun.

My favorite is the Farmer's one where a teenager takes out half a main street square and then hits the fountain. The Farmer's guy walks up to the car, reaches in and grabs the keys, then tosses them as far as possible. 

I've wanted to do that to a few bad drivers out there.

I have noticed that a large number of commercials feature Bi-Racial couples, families whatever....
This seems to be a trend in the marketing community.  An effort to be politically correct?
I don't know.
I don't care about the races inter marrying but the representation seems to be on the high side in commercials. 
Am I imagining this?  Am I a closet racist for even mentioning this?

Not imagining it.  I have noticed this too.

       NOT a dislike but I M H O over played too darned much. The Danny Thomas children's hospital ads and many others soliciting your/our/my money. Any of the barristers going after the trucker or the trucking company. Why you ask? Cuz I am here to tell ya-NOT always the truckers fault as the ads would leave you to believe. As already stated Any New drug ad cuz in a few years They WILL be the defendants-drug company-in new and expensive law suites.  Also ANY ad that tells me they have a Better Anything than anybody else's currently on the market. Any one else gittin tired of Chris Berman Ernie Hudson and now Ice T shillin fer car shield? I Really have far too much time on my hands!  RIDE SAFE

I'm almost hesitant to say so but those children's hospital ads *Shriners and St. Judes) annoy me too.  They don't qualify as stupid commercials but they are aimed entirely at our emotional (empathetic, Serk?) nerve pretending that the children are in positions that they are not.

I do very much hate the mayhem insurance commercials where the actor pretends to be a dog, mother in law, etc.  Protect you from mayhem?  Isn't that what all insurance policies are supposed to do?  (My apologies to my friends that are entertained by those ads.)

       Course I remember when Dinah Shore was extolling the virtues of Chevrolet. Also remember John Wayne and Yul Bryner selling cigarettes. I remember Charlton Heston pushing HARD for the N R A. Also remember Liz Taylor pushing her perfume. I also remember some ads Not calling your education level into question. Course that was also the time of NO feminine products ads or erectile dysfunction ads or ads for aids treatments or ads touting tat removal. Sometimes i wonder have we as a people Really Progressed?  RIDE SAFE.

        The turbo pump syphon one where the dumbkoff can't even begin to git gasoline in his lawn mower. If the dumb azz is That dumb he should hire out his grass trimmin job.
