Sometimes ya just gotta go...

Winter Springs, FL - Occasionally...

« on: April 11, 2020, 12:54:35 PM »

Dang,  we came oh so close yesterday morning... It would have counted as a 'leaner' for sure, had we been playing horseshoes... but, we weren't... something far more serious. Yep, we came about as close as we could to actually riding off... without shamefully capitulating to temptation, to hitting the starter button, and easing out the clutch...

Yes, I did make those varoom, varoom sounds while sitting comfortably upon that Russell Day Long, as our girl raised up off her side-stand almost unaided by her companion. I'm confident I had that far-off, glazed-over stare in my eyes... but, I didn't bother to confirm that. Nope, I just longingly pretended to... pursue relief… but I didn't complete the act. I guess caution still reigns supreme... for now...

That time is drawing ever closer, though... when the ballast of reason shifts and the tipping-point is passed... the time when... you know... My landlady has asked me in the past if I thought I might ever tire of riding, of this... unique hobby... The most accurate and truthful answer I've been able to offer is, "Who Knows? It’s still too soon to tell; I've only been doing it for a bit more than half a century.” Maybe time will tell another story; but, as for now and the foreseeable future...

Fantasies and pretend sort of remind me of those tumultuous days of puberty... Remember those? Our hormones were wildly raging, our appetites were soaring at some stratospheric peak, our desires were... mostly unsatisfied! Handholding and an occasional kiss simply didn't fulfill or quell our... unbridled lust… our seemingly oppressive genetic mandate. Varoom, varoom is a lot like that…

We have to content ourselves, of course, with what's available, but... we surely want to continue on and... I'm impatiently looking forward to the eventual next ‘climax’... This foreplay stuff is nearing the limits of human endurance, so it shouldn't take much longer...

Took the bike to look at a repair job yesterday. Twelve miles to get to the job . One hundred twenty to get home. It has never happened in the truck. Is there something wrong with the bike. 2funny

Take a ride unless your state specifically has a law against it.  You cannot catch or pass the virus while riding a motorcycle.  Now when your not rolling I suppose there's a distant possibility increasing if you dismount.

if you have to choose between rotting or riding, ride!

(The Valk had the last ride)

Ross,

That about sums up what all of us in the 'choir' you're preaching to already know!!! Nope, the problem is not with the bike... That truck is a bit suspect, though...   coolsmiley

Carl,

Well said! Sound advice for sure, and my next thread will address more of my own thoughts on the matter... Thanks!

Bill,

I got a BOG when that analogy came to me! Glad to know some got what I was trying to say!!! Glad to see you're holding up to your Yankee winter, too... I have a hard time even trying to comprehend such... I know, I'm hopelessly spoiled!!! Anyway, thanks for the reply...
