05-04

A lot of folks (myself included) have adapted the adjustable Gold Wing 1800 levers for use on a Valkyrie.  I don't recall exactly what's involved, but it's very minor - otherwise, I couldn't have done it.  Wink  I love mine - and wouldn't look any further.  My .02.

Do a search in the archives.

Levers, many work. My Shadow's would work on the Valkyrie. Already said, GW's  do too.

As for covers, I see them on ebay a lot, but from China, but then most things are now.

Had a set KO's of Kury's grips on the Vulcan. Very cheap plating. My Kury's are 11 yrs. old and have 60,000 mi. of use on two different bikes. Look good as new.

Reservoir covers:  Show Chrome Accessories P/N: 2-288. $20

Tried this brand of adjustable levers that I could not get them to fit on the brake side.

For grips, you might look at Avon, check with Bob Smith (atticrat) he uses, sells, installs the avons.
He also installs adjustable levers, so he would know what you need.

They worked barely but the position was awkward due to the controls being pinned on the Star Bars I added. Sorry I didn't add that piece of info.  Embarrassed Now with the 1800 VTX clutch MC swap, the clutch pressure is very tolerable now thus wanting the adjustable levers in 1st. place.
