Makes perfect sense actually, when you are not really understanding rule of law and make your own institutional norms to follow. In not understanding the world you created was not the normal nor legal way of doing things and you were not listening to the right people. These people saying it was ok to do certain things had an agenda that was not for the benefit of the US.
Not surprised that this would even surprise him, once he cannot fall back on the position of president with all the power that goes with it to cover himself.
Its the exact reason he is in the position he is in, Hope and Change was him fashioning things the way HE sees institutional norms and skirting rule of law. Pen and phone in hand as an example, but once out, the god complex does not bode well, especially when trying to stop an incoming administration in the performance of their duty as they see it regardless of what you feel about it.
The people spoke in a fair election and he and many other players tried to stop a new administration in any way possible, it shows a lack and disregard for rule of law and institutional norms.
As further examples, Obamacare, fast and furious, plus many other examples. These would have probably been ok if they had actually been good for the majority of people, but like the Paris Accord and the Iranian deal with cash, it only served immediate interests at the cost of the long term welfare of the US and especially the middle class.
If you stand back and look at the view Obama had on the US it was not one of people and business that built America but one of an Imperial power, fashioned and carried forward view that his father ingrained in him, one he grew up with.
He could not see the people for the country, the normal working people who built this country but he aligned himself with special interests to change the very fabric of how this country was made.
His view was America was bad, like someone who comes in and sees someone has a big bank account and does not appreciate what it took to get it and spends on anything he thinks is good. Yet when the money is gone, has no solution and does not understand what happened. So it is with Obama.
The America I know is a generous one, its prosperity for those who work and help for those that dont. It cares about the world and like a family wants to protect and take care of its own. It has become rich like a family because of this, because the basic individual can still make something of themselves if they apply themselves. Gates would not be the person he was if it were not for America. Starting in a garage and becoming one of the richest men would not have happened in any other country. Along with Apple, and now they once achieving lofty status and goals wants to tell us how things should be.
Support those that work, keep the family safe, remember the Constitution, the church, and all the institutions that made America great for so many. Dont rape and plunder her for the sake of power and control and special interests.
