I want to add some green accent lights to my bike and am wondering about where would be a good place to put the switches. I saw on here where someone had lights inside the velocity stacks. I have some lights that I want do do that with but not sure how to get the wires out of the stacks. How did you do that? Any other suggestions would be asperated.

Forget all the manual switches and just install one of these.  All my LED engine lighting run of this.  Just hit the button on/off/flicker/dance/etc.

This is just an example, you need to research and find the type of LED you want to pay for. I think it's the 5050 smd that is water proof. Also one that has a 12V lead. There are some with 12 or 24 button remotes, and some that do other things. $15 CAD

I've a white string waiting to install inside my trailer/IS trunk for lighting at night.

Was thinking of adding accent lighting to the bike for light shows at our Rallies. But I've never found the time to install it.

I added 3 push button switches with rubber covers on the plastic cover under tank. 1 runs my Bluetooth amp and phone charger, 1 for accent lighting (including white in the saddle bags when lids open) I have 1 extra for future. Bikes black so you can’t even see the switches but easy to get to. It was a pain to install as I had to disconnect seat key to get cover out to drill, but worth it to me. Good luck.

Thanks Jim and everyone else for the ideas, I like that and I like the switches. Are they push on and push off? I am having mine painted now so already have that cover off.
