If you don’t like Glenn Beck there is probably a dozen other media sources to choose from regarding the story.

I posted The Blaze link because the kids likes rocks apparently and an address is there if anyone want to send him some.

If the character of this 9 year old boy is a representation of the man he is destined to become I hope I live long enough to see his accomplishments.

Sorry for the double posting of this story, I didn’t do too much reading last night (was dead tired) and didn’t visit VRCC at all. I was interested in the story this morning and did not read the “true hero” post here so if moderator wishes to remove this thread I’ll understand.

Is nice to see even families and neighbors getting over this and being peaceful and civilized and even better friends because of this horrific incident.  Same cannot be said over all this violence going on in today's world.

AS most say on here,  sick of watching the news since every single day someone either dies or gets beat up because of violent people over what I would call petty issues.  Even locally in a very small town grocery store locally nearby me a store employee not wearing a mask correctly over his nose gets some old man middle 70's upset telling everyone loudly he is going home to get his gun coming back and shoot the store clerk endangering his life not wearing the mask correctly over his nose - NO JOKE, this happened 20 miles from my home in nearby small town grocery store old guy was from another nearby small town as well.   JUST INSANE!    Guy got arrested and tossed in jail for threatening and violently getting LOUDLY upset over this mask thing.

Now,  nearby counties are going ALL MASK inside stores effective immediately except my small county, but am assuming that will change to go along with the other 2 larger counties nearby me.  This will raise up a storm some more am sure.    A lot of people are old school and farmers and country folks small town people all their lives and am sure a ton will not be wearing masks will refuse to wear them.

Just saw the kid getting congratulated by "the" current (Hollywood) Spiderman and current Captain America.  He idolizes both.  He's definitely a Mighty Mite!  Lots of stitches and swelling, I hope the scarring heals up well, they're getting good hiding such damage nowadays.
