Is Bar Harbor letting visitors in? A couple of us were thinking of taking a couple days and riding somewhere for a Lobster. Not sure if there will be places to stay if we venture too far from home.

I concur on Reds in Wisscassett. You get a full pound of lobster meat and not much else. Last time Kathy and I were there it was $23. Another great place is McLoons in South Thomaston, Maine. Bit of a ride but great scenery.

Thanks guys, I hope to sneak out of work for a few days. I (as most of us here) sure could use some away from work time and put my knees in the breeze.

Deb and I took a Ride to Red's on Sunday. The deck was open but we took it to go right around the corner to the boat launch area and had a little picnic. We did not stay overnight but don't see why you couldn't.

Maine's COVID-19 travel web site at the link below, hasn't changed in 2 weeks. https://www.maine.gov/dhhs/mecdc/infectious-disease/epi/airborne/coronavirus/travel.shtmlMA and RI residents are still required to quarantine for 14 days of arriving or produced a negative virus test result from a test taken with in the last 72 hours. That said, I don't think hotel, motels, B&B's and AirBNB's are enforcing them. Maybe Paul can comment on their recent motel stay in Camden? Makes no sense the RI and MA are still currently excluded, when NY and NJ aren't. Saw many NY and NJ plates yesterday in Narragansett RI. Most everyone was in masks in public, so New Englanders and those visiting from other areas are taking the virus seriously.

When Kathy and I stayed for five nights the owners had us fill out a form saying we had no symptoms ànd that we would quarantine while there. No enforcement. We talked and smiled each time we left to quarantine at town dock or one of the schooners. Masks must be worn but at this point I don't even know I have it on. Plus I can make faces and sick my tongue out at her and she doesn't know. Red's in Wisscassett, McLoons in South Thomaston, Dockside family Restaurant in Belfast has a rooftop deck that over looks most of the harbor. The Lobster Pound in Lincoln, is also good. Yes, Kathy and I have a different lobster roll each time we go. These are the ones we go back to on the other days. Enjoy my friend.

You're missing out! Give 'em a try. We like them with a couple of drops of Frank's hot sauce. Also you can add a splash of Vodka for fun. Delicious!

Carol has some appts coming up and needed to take a virus test before hand and it took over 14 days to get the results! Got the negative results the day before the first md visit. This is all bull$hit couple of years ago we had over 85,000 die from the flu (per CDC) and there was none of this crap going on and Fauci was in the same position he is now.
