After having a random start issue and miss that disappears when warm.

It stayed missing long enough the other day to pull plug leads to see which cylinder and 3/4 didn't make a difference so 1 coil at fault.

I replaced my old VT1100 coils with performance coils so had 2 sitting there to try, I was surprised at the size difference but was able to tweak the mounts and squeeze the 2 I had in, miss and start issue fixed

tested the spark and the replaced coils bad a noticeably louder and brighter spark, sourced another couple with the same part number of a black bird to replace the 3rd coil Cheesy

Part number for reference (I didn't go new as I had 2 already)

I posted about the larger honda coil many yrs ago. little lower ohm rating for a better spark.   Was orginally made for the CBR1100xx Blackbird as far as I know and then used for the VTX 1800.
I was using them, but the Dyna ignition doesn't like them, certain temps the ohms go to low.
