I just hope that, wherever it is, the host city is not too big.  Something considerably less than 100K people would be nice.

P.S.  I will not be riding in any new states.   2funny

Neither will I.   2funny

Serk will possibly pass thru either 1 or 2 states not previously on his map.  It could be three if he takes an alternate route.

If Serk is going to pass through 1 or 2 new states doesn't that narrow the state down to Arkansas, Kentucky, Indiana, or Ohio?

Within the posted Serkle it could be no more than six even with a rambling route.

I accept the correction.  Rather than an I should have said the alternate direct route.

Incidentally I think Serk's map posted is outdated.

Of course, there are no roads straight from and to.  When I look at the route I see some almost due east and some mostly but not completely north.   Smiley

But then the contract isn't signed so that could change.

Ok, recently we've been kind of alternating East and West (as you may have noticed).  Unfortunately, due to coronavirus restrictions, the East didn't really get a fair shot this year.  So, we've decided to look East of the Mississippi for XXI.  The site under consideration is, in fact, East of the Big Muddy.

You do know that the term "The Big Muddy" refers to the Missouri River or are you actually implying East of The Mississippi River? coolsmiley

Yeah, I've heard the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers both referred to as 'Big Muddy'. While I don't intend to do any research to verify, I also seem to recall reading where none other than Samuel Clemons also referred to the Mighty Mississippi thusly...

I've only known the Mississippi as the Big Muddy.  Perhaps East of Ol' Man River will clear up any confusion.

Edit: Actually, East of either would be accurate.

We've had some forward motion in our negotiations, so I guess I can drop another hint.

If Dave Ritsema decides to grace us with his presence Wink, he will travel less than 600 miles.

BTW, barring any unforeseen complications, the dates will be June 13-18, 2021.

Hmmm....less than 600 miles from Southbend falls into the Finger Lakes region of N Yk, that would be a nice area for rides. Or northern Alabama falls within 600 miles. One can take a compass and make a sweep from Dave's home area, stay east of the Mississippi and get a lot of possibilities.

The Finger Lakes is beautiful country but was eliminated by the previous Serkle.  Combining the most recent Serkle with Connie's hint you get any place north of Birmingham, south of the Canadian border, and east of the Mississippi.  David is in South Bend, Indiana.

I'm too cheap or lazy to get the drawing software but ask the Serk to post an updated Serkle.

Data crunching and shrinkage time:

I made a isochrone of 600 mile radius driving time (Roughly) form South Bend, IN, and it looks something like this:

Using that data, I did a VERY ROUGH hand drawn crude, I'm not an artist, shrinkage of the Serkle, basically anything under the red line is out of contention:
