I think I stepped in some of that once.

As for bachelor short order cooking, I've been making great bacon in the oven, and now only in the toaster oven for a long time; much cleaner than stove-top.
I just discovered (if you like some potatoes with breakfast), if you just throw a small handful of frozen fries or tots on the bacon before going in the oven, they come out wonderfully (little greasy, but breakfast is supposed to be greasy, it's good for the heart).

Also, in a misguided effort to eat healthier, I bought a big bag (the only kind they have) of chicken or turkey sausages at the Costco. Well, they tasted like crap. BUT, if you throw one or two of those on the bacon going in the toaster oven, they become edible.
