It's looking like I got a good chance of making this ride. I'll know Wednesday . Extended forecast looking good as well. All could change I know.

I made a route to get there...

I make routes like the above with "mymaps.google.com", sort of "maps.google.com"'s
clunky ugly cousin... with mymaps, though, there's a button that will get you
a generic file with the route on it (a KML file)... the KML file becomes "the blue line"
I follow with the BFGPS... Britman's Memorial Day Ride used to go on some of
the roads on this route...

Mike, as you ride along Yadkin River Valley Rd. look for the "Mountain Overlook" on the left. Ride up to see the view. It's worth it.
