Corroboration for the Atlantic article is starting to come in.
another anti-USC group, run by another global elitist. https://www.emersoncollective.com/ Emerson Collective is a social change organization focused on education, immigration reform, the environment, media and journalism, and health. Founded by Laurene Powell Jobs,[2] the LLC uses philanthropy, impact investing, advocacy, and community engagement as tools to spur change in the United States and abroad.[8] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emerson_CollectiveUm ok. However Fox News and the Associated Press have independently confirmed. So we are willing to believe anonymous sources in a highly partisan environment that the President said disrespectful things towards our Military and those who sacrificed for us. Yet we choose to dismiss the actual men and women of our Military who have stories of their ACTUAL relationship to the President. Complete with photos, videos, and heartfelt stories of Honor and Respect by this very President. Thousands of them. Officers and enlisted alike. It isn't that I don't just dismiss the Atlantic report because I have some kind of blind support for the man. I dismiss it because the evidence to the contrary is overwhelming.

For some context, what about the remarks that President Trump has made about John Kelly? Here is a link describing Kelly, a career Marine serving since Vietnam. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_F._KellyThese are direct quotes from the President regarding Kelly: "He was with me, didn't do a good job, had no temperament, and ultimately he was petered out," "He got eaten alive. He was unable to handle the pressure of this job." "When I terminated John Kelly, which I couldn't do fast enough, he knew full well that he was way over his head. Being Chief of Staff just wasn't for him," "He came in with a bang, went out with a whimper, but like so many X's, he misses the action and just can't keep his mouth shut."

Whichever Chinese agent came up with the hair-brained "Trump hates the troops" conspiracy theory is getting a bonus this month, that's for sure...

To those who have TDS any evidence that shows president Trump in a bad light is good no mater if it's credible or not. They don't care. The few that we have here show their hatred for this president darn near every day. I once heard a report that Obama had a homosexual affair with some guy in the back of a limo. I also hear all the time that Michelle Obama is actually a man and Pelosi used social security to pay for the impeachment investigation against Trump. The list goes on. None of these are true (although I could believe the last one, lol) and most people know this but you liberals would believe any salacious tidbit about Trump because you're programed by the Democrats and the media to think so. Is there any outrageous claim against president Trump that you won't believe?

Well to be honest, this is all toward the present job, nothing to do with his whole career as a military serviceman. The man wasn’t right for the job, it happens. The President has no issues being a person who give praise when a job is done right and everyone loves the praise, but when it comes to saying someone did a bad job that’s off limits...for quite a while now. The President isn’t afraid to say what’s on his mind and people aren’t use to that. He’s a New Yorker, it’s in the blood in this area for many people. Ask a straight question and get a straight answer...except for the politicians, they’ll talk you in circles.

Let me ask you this, if the Atlantic article was about Obama instead of Trump, how would you react? I think that a lot of folks here would react very differently.

It wasn't. No point to your question.

It wasn't. No point to your question. The point is, many of you would be quick to believe it and be extremely angry about it. With Trump, you are willing to forgive a lot.

If someone did to me what Kelly did to the president I would not be so reserved in my comments about him. I think Trump was reserved in his comments.
I also posted about the treason that was done agaiinst Trump and this country yet you say nothing why I wonder

Because, discussing things with you starts out normal then it veers into heavy duty conspiracy theory stuff and I don't want to go there before breakfast.

It wasn't. No point to your question. Although I would believe a report like this about obama, because he was known to hate the military, if it could not be substantiated, it would not matter who it was about. Just saying that it will more naturally fit obama than it does Trump.

Oh, no doubt some folks would "act differently". That is politics. But if things were the same all around, I'd believe direct and obvious evidence as opposed to an anonymously sourced article. I would think that an Atlantic article about Obama wouldn't be anonymously sourced.

I don't think so. Unauthorized or unsubstantiated sources mean nothing until investigated and substantiated either way. Then everyone can wade in. Most of the time today there is video. The obama's stepped in it time and time again for all to see/hear. But, so has Trump.
