The guy makes fun of our current societal shortcomings re. language and words. I like the very last thing he says in the video.  cooldude

This guy is a riot. Just watch...rather lengthy, but I had tears in some parts of his show. Especially when he started talking about having a daughter, the emotional stuff during "that" time, etc. In my mind I was multiplying it by four....plus their mother. OMG....what an example she was for them.  2funny

2funny A great post & clip on this dreadfully dreary wet Tuesday post hurricane Sally aftermath.  crazy2 It does left the spirits of those embellished in there clean up and rebuilding efforts. Not to mention the strength and support of our community helping others in need to get a good laugh. Thanks

Yeah, I needed a good chuckle about then as well(note the time it was posted). Some nights I'll hit the sack at a normal time of around 10:30 or so but find I can't sleep, even though I often will take something to help like melatonin. I end up getting out of bed, pour a glass of wine, then start watching some Youtube stuff. I like to find the latest posting of the "310 pilot" series. It's a young couple and their Cessna 310 twin, flying all over the country on various excursions including some to the Bahamas. Both are controllers working in the tower and do this on their time off, don't know where but they have a good handle on radio work. Brings back a lot of memories of my flying days and I get to watch it in the quiet early morning hours. Other times, like last night, I go looking for humorous stuff such as I posted....some good, some a waste of time. It all helps me to relax, that and the wine, and I can eventually go back to bed and fall asleep. The only drawback, I often will sleep late as a result but since I no longer punch a clock it matters little.

My former wife and I were both pilots and had fun with it. After church and on the way home we had to pass Orlando Executive a/p, so if the weather was good we often would check to see if all the planes in the flying club were spoken for. If not we'd grab one and fly down to the River Ranch dude ranch about 70 miles south as the crow flies. They had their own little landing strip and the main lodge always had a Sunday smorgasbord to die for. I was once invited to attend a gathering of the Quiet Birdmen club outing at RR, that was an event that kinda  gets burned into your memory....I'll say nothing more. I declined an offer of membership. Other times we would fly over to Cedar Key off the Gulf coast for the same reason, it's a quaint little fishing village with more tourist trade than fishing now. We flew to St. Simons Island for a weekend, down to Venice, FL where back then you park at the extreme west end of the ramp and walk to the beach about 100 yds. or so away. Nearly every T'giving we'd reserve a plane and fly to a family member's home somewhere in the midwest, spending the week with them or hopping from one a/p to another to visit friends and other family. Those were fun days/years and my wife and I shared PIC time, the other would handle the radio, take pictures, or snooze. Now, I just live vicariously through the videos of the 310 Pilot videos, posted by Kevin and his lovely little gal Jaime.  Wink
