Thats impressive for a Valk.... Personally on mine, dont really care about the 1/4 times. The bike is to cruise and it does that rather well. Jealous? Not a chance... Cool

If I want speed or quarter mile, my stock VFR will hit low elevens... and there's 100 bikes that will better that......

I thought our stock Valks at best was 12.3 seconds give or take?  Your mods make that much of a difference?

Pretty impressive for any bike that weighs what a Valk does. Nicely done.

The best  I saw in the magazines was a 12.0 Tourer. Take off the windshield,a new smidge wider rear tire- airbox was said to gain 30 h.p. and is in the archives I believe and the header was some more--another member had his Dyno at 125 rear wheel H.P. with those mods...it will spin the rear all the way thru 2nd gear....yes several cruisers do better but aren't able to have a trailer hitch/trunk/full fairing and so forth..anyway it is faster than stock and is still pulling pretty good at 70 mph where stock it trailed off-with the windshield on....it does sound very good at redline cooldude

I think it's pretty impressive that you did a 11.5 with a Valkyrie. I don't know what the fastest 1/4 I've done on any bike in the past. But, I doubt it was below a 12.

I'm not saying that didn't happen, but I do find it hard to believe.   coolsmiley

as posted by 98 valk....97 Valk motorcycle consumer news testing 1/4 mile 12.02 ...    the Valk was rated at 100 h.P. stock..  the Viking header in the archives with the airbox mod was listed at a 30 hp gain....the attic rat mods should be good for some 10-15 hp..I tried to get a member to catch it on his drone but he was busy

I was wanting a run with the Corvette with the Valkyrie--they cut the catalytic converters off when they did the cams and headers leaving the titanium exhaust  putting out a very sweet musical tone on the Zo6..mixed with the Viking header and some mods the  two would make for a very good acoustic jam..it might sell! The 'vette spins the tires thru 1st,2nd and 3rd--they are a smidge old and hard...the Valk banging the rev limiter at 7,500 or so...
