If this weather keeps up they will be canceling Christmas in the Midwest.

Well they cancel workshops, Church gatherings, Schools, stores and everything else here.   Right?

So why won't they cancel Santa coming due to the weather?

Blizzard conditions predicted and 3 days of snow.  5 to 6 one day.

3 to 4 the next and 2 to 3 on Saturday.

Just heard that Dallas is having it's 1st white Christmas in many many years.   Sure hope ya didn't ride the bike to work Mr Meyer....

I missed how much snow in Ok City, and it was still snowing.

Guess I'll go back into hibernation.

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

So far we have been able to dodge everything. It snowed 2-3 last weekend. We were gonna get ice last night but didn't. Roads did freeze around 9a this morning which made travel bad. Its still 32 out now with some ice left in spots. Call me odd but I do like snow storms when I'm home. We are in the open so winds just roll through here. When I'm at work I get stuck there for 2 days working!  Angry

Resistance is futile; if less than 1 ohm.

My sister lives just west of OKC and she tells me they had almost 14" at her place.  It got up to 35 at my place this afternoon and I got a surprise for Christmas.  My son and his family weren't sure if they would be able to make it down form Missouri when I talked to them on Wednesday night.  Seems they left early yesterday and got within 60 miles of here before the weather got bad.  They stayed the night at my Daughter-in-law's sisters house and  just called and will be here for dinner tonight.  First white Christmas in a long time.  It would happen when I have to worry about to grandsons on the road.

Merry Christmas to all and stay warm.
