We are probably pissing off John.  Undecided The election and for all intents the counting is done. When it's brought before the Electoral College it will be official. The claims of voter fraud brought by Trump and the Republican Party have been thrown out. It's over.
In answer to your first remark...no, aggravated yes. As to the remark concerning claims having been thrown out...wrong....again. You really need to quit beating that drum until full certification takes place, until then your irritating comments have little substance. Now here's something that should scare anyone into capitulating; if it goes to the House, that makes Pelosi president for the duration of time it takes to vote on and decide who the next president will be. When it comes to Pelosi, I have many adjectives pertaining to her....none of which are endearing to say the least.

As for Biden, he does have a some decent ideas but that list is quite short & would fit on a Post-it note. If the Republicans retain their control of the Senate, he'd be wise to pick his battles carefully. Frankly, I don't expect much from him individually, 47 yrs. of little to nothing accomplished kinda leads me to that thought. Let us just stop here and now and wait on the final action in December.  Angry

Look Serk, Meathead was right again!!   smitten

I actually turned down a weekend event of my brothers for scotch and shooting, partially because yes, I have enough for The Big Bogaloo.... But not enough that I'm comfortable shooting for fun right now.....

The triplets are angry, but until Biden concedes (Or the worse case scenario happens) I'm not comfortable taking them out to the land and using any ammo for "fun" purposes that may be needed for "Battle of Athens" purposes in short order.....

ah....so, you weren't serious about it not being a political pissing contest ? John, it's not going to the House. Biden will be awarded 306 votes in the Electoral College. He will take office Jan. 20. It's over.

100,000 march in DC in completely peaceful protest of fraudulent election.

Almost no media coverage nationwide.

BLM and Antifa attack marchers as they depart, mostly blind side and ambush.  Old people, women, and children.

There was some mention of a all out meelee between proud boys and antifa. (Go PB)

Appears to be little police protection, and few arrests.

No, I didn't go.  If I can't pack an AR and pistol with full combat load vest (and use it), I'm not going.

There is very little peaceful left in me.

Most media (what little there is) says 10s of thousands.  And you know they lowball.

I found one that said 100,000.

I tried to find any overhead shots of the whole crowd, but couldn't.

I have no idea (but doubt a million).

It's mostly the folks who traveled far to attend (and don't know DC) who got beaten.

The days of completely peaceful Tea Party rallies seem to be over.

Antifa and BLM need a few full auto responses (badly).

I said it on another thread that Rob must have an inside line on the election. Politico must be it. NOT.  Evidently any proof otherwise is a right wing conspiracy. John at least he didn't call you stupid.

Yes it would Craig.  Except today, your hats and Tshirts (and bumper stickers and signs in front of your house) can get you sandbagged, ambushed and attacked (just like the 1st Amendment).  Operational security requires anonymity these days (even if it does make you feel a bit cowardly).  Course, it really depends where you live, and where you go.

A little Curtis Lemay carpet bombing of leftist population center bastions (nationwide) also sounds like a good idea, though maybe just a bit extreme (and maybe not).

Really, what I wonder about it is why there is so much preoccupation with this kind of news ? It seems almost identical to his meltdown with the inauguration numbers. It seems any organization that labels their rally with "million man anything" it sets them up for failure. I have no idea how many people showed up for the "Million MAGA March". Nor, do I really care. Do you ?

Yes and it truly is a sweet site and a contrast to the media reports

Wise.

I think some want to be banned so they can have something else to bicker, moan and groan about. Seems to give them a great deal of pleasure.

You can never have enough, but we have a lot.  Enough that I'm not overly concerned about recreational use.  However, I won't take out the full autos at this point... they're way fun, but talk about going through some ammo!

All joking aside, I am more afraid for our country than I ever have been.  I've been though periods of unrest in the past, but this just feels different.  In the past, Americans essentially wanted the same things, but differed on how to get there.  Now, our goals are completely at odds.  The left wants to fundamentally change America... they have said so.  America may not be perfect, but there is more good than bad.

I'm not sure that older democrats realize how far their party has moved or how much they want to gut our current systems and Constitution.  The educational system has successfully indoctrinated the majority of gen Z.  MSM has long since abandoned any semblance of impartiality.  Additionally, young people (and others) get their news and information exclusively from social media and google, which actively suppress conservative views and information. The tech giants wield far too much power and feel entitled to censor content based on their views and opinions.  There has been a recent push for conservatives to abandon FB, Twitter, Google, etc and move to other platforms that won't censor content.  But what does that accomplish?  Then the factions are relegated to their own echo chambers, further dividing our county's citizens.  We don't listen to one another as it is.

Anyway, all of this has left me (and many others) feeling disenfranchised and basically helpless to make any meaningful difference.  I honestly don't see a path forward.  Of course, I'm more than ready should poop hit the fan, but I really don't relish the thought.

This.

I honestly believe this is the root of the problem, as opposed to overwhelming corruption at the polls.  No doubt there was some but...

Overwhelming, decades long corruption and indoctrination in our schools from K thru post grad along with the reinforcement of the lamestream and Big Tech has brought the woke to the polls in droves.  I'm afraid Socialism may be their enduring participation trophy.

Problem is in the end the agony will be shared by all Americans, equally.   That's how Socialism is.
