ok, so i couldn't seem to find the rattlebar kick shift anywhere...it was on their web site of course but until they reach 15 orders they aren't doing anything.

i happened onto the goldwing country website and found them for sale there for $99 plus shipping.

can somebody tell me if this is the same thing?

thanks

I'm guessing the link I (accidently) found on Google was old or something, I don't know. After looking at Rattelbars site I did order the same shifter from the Goldwing site-RB807. It was $99 plus shipping. That's what my receipt shows anyway. I'll call Monday and double check.

Thanks Undecided

Let us know how it turns out. I brought mind from HDL for $99.00 a few years ago. It could be some left overs they are getting rid of. That is a great price.

I go to Rattlebars, and it says 8 are on order, and 15 are needed.  I have peg relocation ordered, and only 4 are ordered, so 11 to go!

It said there were 8 on order about a month ago when I ordered mine, so there are at least 9 on order now. cooldude

Are you sure?  I went all the way through the order process...just short of payment and nothing said about needing 15 orders.

I would like to get a peg drop kit for the wife, and new pegs.  I have a kickshifter that I have been sitting on for 5 - 6 years.  When I got it, I put it on temporarily (didn't torque the crush washer) and then sat on the seat.  Went to put my foot on the left peg, and my heal hit the rear peg of the kickshifter.  Couldn't get my foot on the peg the way I wanted, so took it off and it is still in the box it came in.  It just won't work for me.  Now if someone had (new of course) a peg drop kit and a pair of ISO wings to trade........... coolsmiley

Try this link.  Says 4 peg relocators on order, and 15 needed to order.  He will take your order, but not charge your card until he does a run of them.

thanks. i called rattlebars today, the lady said they take your order and when they are about to ship it (at least two months for the kick shift, she said) they call you to make sure you still want it. then you pay-only through pay-pal though-no other method accepted according to her.

that's it. lots of drama for a shifter, i better like it.

Had mine for three or four years now and really like it. It's practically part of my foot. I put the relo kit on mine but modified it slightly to only move my foot ahead and not forward and down. I was scraping my boards all the time forward and down and it just fits me better this way too.  cooldude
