Space Shuttle In-Flight Maintenance (IFM).  Real time ops, helping fix it while she's flying, and crew training.
Also, drove a zamboni in a Santa suit a couple years ago!

Spent 33 years with The Toepicker Ks. Fire Dept, last 5 years as Shift Commander, so I got a fat government pension in 03 when I retired.  Turned out the pension wasn't as fat as it appeared to be, so I'm back working as a dispatcher for a University Police Department, workin on another pension to go with it!   police hoser

NOW, I am a network engineer helping design a cyber security center for NOAA.

2 months ago, I was a consultant to NATO in Afghanistan managing all force tracking systems in the country for 2 years.

Before that, more network engineering and project management.

sheets (24 years without missing a day of work serving the motorist of California)

Wow, my grandfather made it 29 years without a missed day at The Boeing Co. (where I work) but his grandson (me) has already, many times, blown that record, not going to happen. I miss when ever I can. Good for you though.

For forty three years was just a cut-up  2funny( meat cutter ) for A&P now I'm just an old retired cut-up riding my Bikes as my major occupation. Yes that was plural, for one early morning when I broke all the rules of riding  uglystupid2 a deer and I got into a collision  tickedoff and my ' Wing ' was a macadam slider for about 450ft. and I discovered that at 71yrs. I'm to old to tumble down the road at over 60mph.  Shocked I found it shredds your jeans and ripps off the skin if you do not wear the gloves. ( thank God I had the helmut on ) so then I bought a Valkyrie  :cooldude:for there was to many nice days of riding and me with no Bike, but when I got it home all we have had is snow, snow, snow. So the Valk sits and the Wing is getting put back together. Now I am looking for nice weather so I can see how this Valk rides. Then an Old cut up can ride the roads again.

I'm a Civil/Structural Engineer.  I graduated from PENN STATE in 1994 and spent the first 6 years of my career designing precast concrete buildings such as parking garages, warehouses/distribution centers, prisons, and stadiums and arenas.  I worked on the Redskins stadium and the Atlanta Thrashers/Hawks arena as well as several college facilities.  It was cool but the company I worked for (small engineering office) got bought by an international firm and things went downhill.  So in 2001 I switched gears and moved into the transportation field.  Now I design roads and bridges mainly for PENNDOT, the PA Turnpike, but also for local municipalities and private developers.  Lately, I've been doing more project management than design.  But with a new boss now, I'm hoping to get back into doing more design.

When work is available, I'm a carpenter/builder. As far as a job, I wear many hats. 22 years as a volunteer firefighter, 15 as a captain and instructor. 20 years as a volunteer in disaster relief, first with the Red Cross and now with the Judson Baptist Association. Also, 33 years as a Royal Ambassador leader and Adult Campcraft Instructor. All as a volunteer. I have taken hundreds of boys camping and teaching them about God's creation and helping them develop a Christian world view. Currently a delegate to the Southern National Congress and an active member of the League of the South. So, what's my job? Depends on which hat I have on at the time. And my most important job, is husband and father.
