Up to 15 inches of snow are forecast for my area from the storm starting tonight. We're all ready. Snowblower is gassed up. Plenty of food and booze in the house. And the wood caddy on the hearth is stocked. Thankfully it will be a light fluffy snow for my area, which will make clean up much easier compared to the last two heavy wet pasty snow storms we've had. Believe it or not, I'm actually looking forward to it.   laugh

Hey Dan-bury, hope this storm is driving additional snow blower business for you.   cooldude

Thanks for the thought Tony, I'm ready as well but many folks are not. Not only are we over run with repairs I am still (as of this response at 1:45) getting calls from people asking if I can repair their Snowblower and get it back to them today.
Looks like winter is finally here...........

Last thing you want is a surprise when it starts to snow. Cheesy I got my blower and thrower running last month, so I am ready. Smiley

Agreed and ditto!  In this age of on demand for lots of stuff, not surprised that some think they can get their machine fixed in a day. Not too bright.  uglystupid2

Different weather guys read different weather reports, and we get varying amounts being forecast...
Somewhere in the vicinity of 4" to 10" starting @9am tomorrow....
We now have a portable generator to run the entire house in case we lose power.....
Plenty of pellets, food, beer, wine, and fuel for all gas powered equipment....
Maybe couch time, binge watch some wilderness shows on the tube, enjoy 2 or 3 bottles of wine, and finish off the prime rib we cooked this evening....The snow removal can wait for Friday !!!

14 inches of snow at my house. Still some light flurries that could add a little bit more. It's been a while since we've had that much snow from a single storm.  I've got an 8 HP 24 inch cut snow blower, which had to work hard to clear the snow. Even with snow blower, I've had forgotten how much work it is to clear that much snow, including sidewalks, walkways, front stairs, fire hydrant and part of the deck. I'll be sore later in the day and into tomorrow.   Cool

12 inches   of course more at the top of the driveway where the plow driver deposits it   tickedoff

handle broke on my old craftsman single stage blower, splinted it with wood and duct tape, worked just fine

Maybe next year buy one of those 2 stage monsters  any recommendations?
